As a member of the team here at Vertex, much of the time you'll find me assessing client requirements, developing and creating Infrastructure Solutions, leading Data Migrations, creating custom SQL and delivering Reporting Solutions. With over 15 years' experience years working in and around the IT sector, I've accrued experience with a wide variety of development and reporting tools.
More recently I've been working closely with clients in Adults' and Children's Social Care, where I've worked at length with tools such as SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, SSIS and SAP Business Objects.

Whilst working at Dudley we overhauled their entire LiquidLogic -based reporting setup using SQL, SSMS, SSRS and Power BI. The new system created contains over 100 new critical reports which provide deeper insight and enables them to make better business decisions.
My work with Worcestershire County Council was concentrated on the creation and development of custom reports, focused on operation critical areas within Adults Social Care. Working closely with stakeholders, I was part of a team who constructed, tested and deployed custom SQL code, innovative SQL functions and ultimately, key dashboards, to allow accurate measurement of performance.
The work I am undertaking at Kirkless is mainly comprised of two parts, an initial LiguidLogic deployment analysis which included over 70 meeting with key stakeholders to fully understand the key problems they faced. After doing this, I produced and distributed a comprehensive document to illustrate the findings. This was then followed by the creation and development of many 'pots' of complex SQL scode and extensive work with report developers and key stakeholders to deliver infrastructure that would become the foundation for all future report development.
